Procurement Office of the Velocity Interoperability Network Established

The Procurement Office of the Velocity Interoperability Network has been formally established. The Office is responsible for the purchase of goods, services and works on behalf of the departments and offices of the Network: it publishes tenders, keeps the register of approved suppliers, maintains the procurement rules under which departments buy, and records every contract awarded above the publication threshold.

With its establishment complete, the Office today launches its official website at procurement.gov.vin. The site will carry press releases and official statements, every invitation to tender issued on behalf of the Network, the register of contracts awarded, guidance for suppliers wishing to register, and the procurement rules in full.

The publication of the Office's first round of tenders, the opening of supplier registration and the adoption of the procurement rules are the subject of separate announcements published today. The Office's first quarterly report, covering the quarter ending 30 September 2026, will be published in October. General enquiries may be sent to contact@procurement.gov.vin.
