Office of the Spokesperson

The Procurement Office of the Velocity Interoperability Network today published its first round of invitations to tender. Seven tenders, with a combined estimated value of 734,000 credits, are issued on behalf of the Interior Department, the Health Department, the Energy Department, the External Affairs Department and the Procurement Office itself. They cover office furniture for the six principal sites, clinical consumables, a printing and stationery framework for all departments, cleaning and waste collection, generator maintenance, translation services and secure document transport.
Five tenders are conducted by open tender with a notice period of twenty-one days and close at noon on Monday 28 September 2026. The two largest, the furniture supply and the printing framework, carry the extended notice period of thirty-five days required for contracts estimated at 150,000 credits or more, and close at noon on Monday 12 October 2026. Tender documents are issued on request and questions of clarification are answered in writing to every respondent.
Any registered supplier may respond to a tender. Businesses that are not yet registered may respond provided that an application for registration has been submitted before the closing date. The full list of open tenders, the outcome of the six tenders closed during the transition period and the steps for submitting a response are set out on the Tenders page of this site.
